Dive into Culturally Relevant Texts:

Engage in diverse readings and take part in discussions on relevant literature with an emphasis on theological, philosophical, ethical and psychological themes as well as contemporary issues.

Purpose:
  • Inoculate a lasting desire to read.
  • Empower people to access further literature.
  • Develop an appreciation for a variety of social themes.
  • Broaden horizons in thought.

  • Appreciate a diversity of perspectives.
  • Share your understanding. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and contribute! We rely on cooperation for everyone to benefit
  • Actively create chances for dialogue. Bring people into conversations
  • Be mindful of the structure set out by facilitators.
  • Challenge others respectfully.
  • Be proactive in any set readings prior to the class.
  • Let ideas flow and try to jot them down in the session.
